As of December 31, 2022, Works in Progress is no longer in operation. It has been a joy and an honor to work with so many brilliant progressives to create safer workplaces for all of us.
Works in Progress is committed to creating workplaces that are inclusive and safe for every worker. Founded in 2016 to address sexual harassment in progressive organizations, Works in Progress partnered with organizations, companies, and conferences to build diverse, equitable, and inclusive working environments that addressed gender, race, sexuality, disability, and workers’ other identities head on using EEOC-backed approaches and evidence-based practices. Works in Progress also conducted research so all organizations and practitioners conducting sexual and gender-based harassment and DEI programming know what actually works to create change.
Our work asked not merely who is in the room, but also who is safe, whose safety is sacrificed for others’ comfort, whose voices are being heard, and who has or shares power?
