Works in Progress is committed to creating workplaces that are inclusive and safe for every worker. Founded in 2016 to address sexual harassment in progressive organizations, Works in Progress partners with organizations, companies, and conferences to build diverse, equitable, and inclusive working environments that address gender, race, sexuality, disability, and workers’ other identities head on using EEOC-backed approaches and evidence-based practices. Works in Progress also conducts research so all organizations and practitioners conducting sexual and gender-based harassment and DEI programming know what actually works to create change.
Our work asks not merely who is in the room, but also who is safe, whose safety is sacrificed for others’ comfort, whose voices are being heard, and who has or shares power?
